Hi, everyone! You can find here mostly Tron-related things - gorgeous fanarts and gifs, for instance. (Made by cool people, not by me, I like liking and reblogging. ;) Sometimes my posts are NSFW, you have been warned.) There are some cats and some Bruce, Jeff, Cindy, Garrett and Olivia in this place, too. :) Sometimes - really rarely - I also post silly thingies I made on my own. Tagged 'mine' or 'my photos', etc. I also made gifs, you can find them under the my gif tag. A little note: I like it, when you reblog them (of course ^^ - and thank you for your kindnesss) or use them as reaction gifs for your text posts, for instance, but, please do not repost them. (Repost means: you download it to your computer, and after that make a photo post to your blog as if it would be a gif made by you.) Thank you. I have a lot of work with them, you can't imagine it. :) My second blog is called Sunmachines, I collected all of my other fandoms there. Tron:Uprising vs Aeon Flux

So I watched Tron:Uprising in its entirety and was extremely impressed by the art style. Usually , characters in these proportions bother be me but they were so elegant and consistant that I just.

Look at this gorgeous shit right here.

Of course, being a student in a film and animation related field, something seemed familiar about this style. Then, a few episodes in, I figured it out. Aeon Flux.

As it turns out, Aeon Flux was a BIG influence for the art style on the show. They even got a guy who worked on it, Rob Valley, to help with character designs.

Do I know my animation or do I?

Anyway, Tron:Uprising is up on Netflix. Give it a view, you won’t be disappointed. The plot is solid, the characters are beautifully animated, it is every bit of eye candy as Tron:Legacy. The voice cast includes Elijah Wood, Bruce Boxleitner, Mandy Moore and Paul Reubens (whose character is fucking terrifying especially if you know other things Paul Reubens has been in *shudder*). Bonus: They even got the same guy to do orchestration for it as Legacy (sorry, no Daft Punk this time, it is still really nice).
